GP THE SYNTH ROLLER è il nome con cui faccio musica. Il metodo è lo stesso delle mie macchine fotografiche: prima costruisco lo strumento — un sistema modulare, cavi, moduli scelti uno a uno — poi lo lascio suonare e resto ad ascoltare cosa succede.

Ne esce musica lenta: downtempo, trip hop, elettronica che si allarga fino all'ambient. Percussioni che rotolano sotto strati di sintetizzatore, come una luce che entra piano da un foro piccolissimo.

Due dischi usciti nel 2025. Si ascoltano tutti e due qui sotto, per intero.

GP THE SYNTH ROLLER is the name I make music under. The method is the same as with my cameras: first I build the instrument — a modular system, cables, modules chosen one by one — then I let it play and stay to hear what happens.

What comes out is slow music: downtempo, trip hop, electronics that widen into ambient. Percussion rolling under layers of synthesiser, like light entering slowly through a very small hole.
